Brother Gary Wednesday Evening 3/5/14

Everyone has received a measure of faith.  The one goal, purpose, and desire of the beast, the image, and Satan is to destroy our faith and fill us with unbelief.  The mind of all the spirits of Babylon and the eighth beast is one: that is to destroy faith in God.

There are religious people that wear modest apparel but that does not save you.  There are those that have the doctrine of salvation and sanctification.  The doctrine is right but the institution is Babylon.  They are some of the meanest people in the world.

Whenever you see a mean spirit, whatever the religion it comes from, whether church of God, united Methodist, divided Methodist or any other religion, it is a part of the image, the beast and the eighth beast.

Joh 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

There is not one person in this audience that was not entrusted with a measure of faith.  The precious children, the wonderful faith you were entrusted with by God the Father!  The enemy wants to steal that faith.

Brother Bill has been exhorting us with some of the writings of C E Orr.  I thought of how wonderful it would have been if C E Orr’s children and grandchildren would have kept that hold on the faith in God.  It is wonderful that these children can serve the God of their grandfather and their great grandfather.

The enemy wants to steal, to kill and to destroy your faith.  We have encountered the battle of Armageddon.  The world and all the religious spirits; people that say, live however you want and do whatever you want.  People write things that show beyond the shadow of a doubt the enemy has stolen their common sense.

Spiritual enemies are out to destroy our faith.  If you are serving God then you have enemies that are out to destroy your faith in God.  If you lose your faith then you will lose your chance to serve God.  Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Be not shaken in mind.  Be not troubled with any communication or act.  You will be worried about many things if you allow spirits to move in and trouble you.

There are a lot of troubling spirits and we need to know how to handle it.  There are a lot of people that want to dump on you.  They are looking for someone to dump on but they are not living right.  Don’t bring me the testimony of someone living in sin and expect me to take it.

We need to have a standard in our heart that we will not let anything shake or trouble us or we will lose out on God.

In Mark 4, we have the parable and lesson of the four soils, the lesson of the candle on the candle stick, we are given the conviction that nothing is hid from God and we are told to hear to gain and not lose.  It dealt with the kingdom of God and let us know that it is designed to grow.  It grows night and day.  It is sown small but grows up big.

Mar 4:35  And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

These people had been with Jesus and had heard him express the marvelous things of God.  They had heard the parable of the word sown and the very same day…

You can have excellent devotions in the morning and that same day the enemy will move in on you with unbelief.  You think, “Where did this battle come from?”  It shows this with Jesus in this text.

Mar 4:36  And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
Mar 4:37  And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
Mar 4:38  And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
Mar 4:39  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Mar 4:40  And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
Mar 4:41  And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Great storm of wind with the waves splashing over:  you and I know that there are storms that we all encounter.  Sometimes the storm is so great and we feel the waves so high that even some of the water gets into the boat.  One thing we need to remember is that the master is close at hand.

Jesus stilled the storm and asked two questions:  why are you so fearful and why don’t you have any faith.

Mar 11:22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mar 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mar 11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mar 11:25  And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mar 11:26  But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Say to your mountain be thou removed.  Let God hear your prayer and your desires.  When you pray, if any has trespassed you then forgive them.  Forgiving others brings forgiveness to us.
