Brother Gary Sunday Evening 10/27/13

Brother Gary Sunday Evening 10/27/13
Not only is there the Kingdom of God but the Kingdom of God has a King.

1Ti 6:10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1Ti 6:11  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
1Ti 6:12  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Follow after righteousness and godliness.  Follow after faith.  The waves that are rolling over us are just rolling over us.  The storm will pass.  It looks like there will be loss of family, friends, estates, and things held dear to us but follow after faith.

Follow after love, patience, meekness and be prepared to fight the good fight of faith.  We are going to conquer.  Bro Maconahae preached “Conquer through prayer” as one of his last messages.

Lay hold on eternal life.  All the things of this world would try to take preeminence in our life if we let them.  We will leave them all behind and it is vital for us and for the little ships around us that we hang onto God.

1Ti 6:13  I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
1Ti 6:14  That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Keep it real the things that we are to flee, and keep it more real what we are to follow after.

1Ti 6:15  Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Let us remember that Jesus Christ is still in the position of preeminence and is above all men, all situations, everything that is going on everywhere.  He is above all.  There are a lot of things going on but Christ is still above it all.  He is the King of kings.

I am so happy:  we’ll crown Him Lord of all.  We are so happy that beyond a shadow of any doubt this king sits as a king on the heart and soul of everyone that is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.  He is King of kings and Lord of lords.  Many kings have risen and fallen.  In 2013 in the religious world there are men that claim to be the potentate and the last day prophet, they claim to be whatever.

Rev 17:11  And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

This is what we as a church are fighting spiritually today.  The powers of the eighth beast are the conglomeration of all the spiritual powers that have ever worked in the world.

As I was studying on perdition and destruction, it stirs my soul to think that people are yielding themselves to spirits that are planning to destroy them in this life and in hell.  Many are being destroyed by the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes and the pride of life.  Many are being destroyed by the lying spirits that cause them to believe that they are saved.  That cause them to believe a lie and be damned.  They are headed to destruction, eternal destruction.

People have thought in the past, “I may not agree with this religion but at least it teaches family values and this or that.  We may have thought that but it had plans to lead every family into destruction.

God gave the revelation of Jesus Christ on the isle of Patmos and then went on to show John:

Rev 17:12  And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
Rev 17:13  These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
Rev 17:14  These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

These have one mind.  It is so interesting in rural western Montana between the river and the mountains and the mountains on the other side.  We see in a spiritual realm the one mindedness of the eighth beast spirit.

They are in sympathy with the spirit they are under that is leading them to destruction, because they love sin and unrighteousness, and Babylon and their entertainment.  Babylon is just Hollywood under a different name.  They give their power to the beast.

These shall make war with the lamb.  It is so interesting how people fight the Jesus that is inside every one of us.  They fight the King of our kingdom and mark us with whatever without us really knowing what the mark is.  They mark us because we don’t have the mark that they have.  They have a system that brings everyone into bondage and that they are in bondage with.

The Lamb shall overcome them.  Be encouraged.  If you and I will stay true to God as the song was sung, “Before you or I were ever here, God was making plans.”  God knows our days.  He knows the days that are ahead.  I do not think that there is defeat ahead.  The Lamb shall overcome them.

He is Lord of lords.  There is a remnant that said, “I will follow Him all the way.  He is the Lord of my life.”  We not only say with our lips but with our heart and head, “Have thy own way Lord.”

He is the King of kings.  I look at these religious kings in Babylon and I just shake my head.  I’m not saying this to be a smart-aleck.  I don’t know very many of them anymore.  Whenever they can they put their sword on the end of their elbow and give me a big punch then they do.

Jesus Christ is the King of kings.  Whether you deal with kings in Hollywood or in the entertainment world that is a sad story.  The money lords, these people that are in control of the money and are ignorant enough to think, “I am set up in this position to hack this or that one.”  Do they not think that they are getting set up to have someone hack them?

Most of my education was chopping wood but you don’t have to live very long and you know some things.  I say all that to say this, whether it is in the money world or the hospital and they say, “Thin the ranks.”  Don’t they know that someone else will come along and that hacker will be hacked?

I’m not going to try to steal that brother’s cow.  One came to tell my dad’s family, one of the kings of the earth came to the house and said to his mother, “In order to get your dad out of purgatory you need to give me your only cow.”

Are not you glad that we serve a God that has an everlasting kingdom of peace, joy, and love.  He is a king with the heart of a shepherd.

He is Lord of lords and the King of kings.

It is so empty to drop a doctor’s first name.  I know the King.  I’m a part of a kingdom that has a kingdom of priests.  They that are with Him are called.  Isn’t it something how He calls you?

I believe in walking humbly with my God.  I don’t feel that I was with such an elite group of Ireland that I had to come so far down the ladder...  No, when He found me He lifted me up.  When I think of the destruction that I was headed to I can only point to the King of kings.

My King has scars in his hand so that He could lift me up.

We are chosen.  He said “If you make me your choice I will make you my choice and love you with a love that will never let you go.”  It is a sad story to feel that you were loved and then forgotten.

It is wonderful to be loved.

Called, chosen, and faithful:  No question, faithful to death.  It is not hard to be faithful to Him.  This King is so just, so fair, so good, and so kind.  He is a present help in every time of need.  Every once in a while he tells us, “Way back there He was making plans for right here.”

Brother John: The kings of this earth are arrogant.  David knew that being a king is not easy and carries a lot of responsibility.  Just a few arrogant moves can injure so many.  David got many people killed just because he acted out of pride.
Personal convictions are a source of pride and can injure so many.  It is heartbreaking.  People want to fellowship others and the kings are in the way.  If we listen to God’s direction we can be there.  We can become as much Babylon as any Babylon if we don’t stay In His hands.
Kings need to act like they are godly, consider everyone in their influence and not think of only our self.  It can sure damage.

Sister Janet: I was thinking of all of life that Babylon portrays.  I have not run across any religion that does not preach the same lie:  “You cannot be righteous; you have to sin.”

Brother Gary Sunday Morning 10/27/13

Brother Gary Sunday Morning 10/27/13
1Ch 29:10  Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
1Ch 29:11  Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
1Ch 29:12  Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
1Ch 29:13  Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

My burden today is “Thine is the Kingdom.”  David knew in the literal about a kingdom.  He was a literal king and was to pass on his kingdom to his son soon after he said this.

Dan 7:13  I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Dan 7:14  And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Everything of the earth will fade away.  Men will fail.  This kingdom will never be destroyed, and God will never fail.

Isa 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

He is wonderful.  The saints everywhere are the same.  He is the Everlasting Father, he is father to the father of the child and he is father to the child.

It is ok when we start getting old and our agility or strength decreases as long as the peace is increasing.

God is just.  I think of His justice and of how fair God is.  When I think of the one that has been taken advantage of…  He that is the head of the church even when one has been unjust says, “The injustice was wrong, joy was taken away and what you thought would be a journey of joy and pleasure was not.  The journey is wrecked and ruined unjustly; I will come and give grace.”

God can come and take something that has been ruined and light it with the justice of God and it is sealed that the zeal of the Lord of Host will perform this.

Mat 3:1  In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
Mat 3:2  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Jesus heard that John was in prison and left where he was and went by Zabulon and the people that were setting in Darkness.  Only Jesus passing by will give light to those in darkness.

Mat 4:13  And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
Mat 4:14  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
Mat 4:15  The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;
Mat 4:16  The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
Mat 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The question was asked in Sunday school, “How can you teach someone that is rude at your dinner table manners if they will not receive it.”  There is something willful in the nature of man that when they reject God they reject goodness.

This was my case.  My parents were strong and had the fear in me but it took Jesus to make me mannerly and obedient because I wanted to be.  I may have feared my parents and was obedient on the outside but I was ugly and rebellious inside.  When Jesus came by…

Brother Gyme asked a man in darkness if God was talking to him.  He said, “Yes, God is talking to me.”  People in darkness make a choice to listen to God’s voice or not.

Jesus passed by and preached a message that all sinners need to hear.  It is the message that will change lives.  The message is repentance.  People refuse to repent and try to quiet the message of repentance because they love darkness.

Repentance is confession and turning away from that which is sin.

Mat 6:9  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11  Give us this day our daily bread.
Mat 6:12  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

This is a good daily prayer, not in the form of repetition, but for that soul that hungers and thirsts to have that kingdom of heaven come afresh to their soul in the morning and in the evening hours.  The kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Thy will be done in earth.  Today, today, of all the things that are trying to come to me:  I told how I had been troubled with some anxieties of things pressing in on me.  I had sought God and received scriptures:, let your calmness be made known for the lord is at hand.  And: Be careful for nothing.

Daily your mind, and perhaps the enemy in a violent attack on your mind, will bring all of the things that need to be done.  I hurt my knee, I couldn’t run the rotor tiller, couldn’t do this or that.  These things would just come in like a flood.

They come in and it doesn’t change a thing except me.  Anxious.  The rotor tiller sat in the garage unstarted and the garlic was still unplanted.

Today, may the kingdom come.  May there be joy and peace.  May God’s will be done in earth.  “I want your will, your plan.”  His kingdom, His presence, His plan totally changes our life.

That doesn’t mean that the garlic doesn’t need to be planted or the dishes done.  But if the kingdom of God is reigning in your heart and life then the King can sit on the throne of your heart.

If the cares are reigning, when the flood of cares come, then who is trying to get on the throne of your heart?  When the flood of problems come… problems are a part of life.  The children’s problems vary with age.

When we pray, “Thy kingdom come today and the King come today, and thy will be done in this earth.”  We don’t have to worry about things in heaven, it is alright in heaven.  But that it be right in earth.

Luk 17:20  And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

People that are demanding will come into your life.  Remember that the kingdom does not come with observation and it will not be here or there.  It is ok to think that Paradise is special as long as you realize that God is other places as well.  God has been so good to me but God has been good to others too.

The kingdom of God is within you.  The kingdom of God is always under attack.  Many people in the religious world say, “Get saved and you will never have a problem.”  They never got saved or they wouldn’t say that.

Mat 11:12  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

When you get saved the devil looses the battle and he begins to put a strong mental attack on you.  He’ll try to put words in your mouth and will accuse you.

Rom 14:17  For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Seek the kingdom first and all these things will be added.

You may be here and feel great pressure.  You might feel that when you wake up the first thoughts are pressure thoughts.  God has a better way.  Set it so that when you go to bed you already have it settled.  “When I wake up my thoughts will be to worship you.”

Think, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.”  If you lose the first half hour of the day to the thoughts of worry, then the devil has set the day for you to be on that track the whole day.

All these things:  These saints are going to be traveling.  Seth may be fixing bikes.  Sister Julie will be in the classroom.  The young people will be in school.  God wants to supply all of their needs.

He cannot supply them unless we seek Him first.  Jesus is never a bully.  He is always a gentleman.  We want Him to have first place.  Seek Him first.  If we want all our needs supplied, seek him first and all these things shall be added to you.

Sister Sharron Sunday School 10/27/13

Sister Sharron Sunday School 10/27/13
I so appreciate having my heart changed.  When I was in sin I was haughty.  I didn’t care what people thought or whether I was well-dressed or sloppy.

Sister Kayla said if you have anything inappropriate in your mouth use a napkin.  Some of having manners is common sense; it has to do with what is appropriate.

Table manners are to avoid ugliness.  No one should see what you are eating or hear all the sounds.  That is proper kindness and pleasantness.  Etiquette is to encourage those around us.

Charming women are charming to their husband and to all around them.  I feel that everyone here does this so it seems awkward to speak on.

Brother Gary - it is a good point of reference.  When we meet one that doesn’t have good manners it allows us to say, “We just had a good Sunday school lesson on manners and this is what it was…”

It is important that we set an example.  We are not slaves to our phone.  The one sitting before you means something.  When my phone rang in the restaurant, I did not answer it.  There is nothing wrong with answering and saying: “I just sat down to eat; can I give you a call back?”

Every child can be trained.  There is not a child born that cannot be trained.  If you train them when they are young and bring them up then it will be easier.

Children need to be trained to sit down, and should never get up during a meal.  They need to learn to sit still.  They need to learn to run and play but we forget the other side.  They need to be trained to be pleasant to be around.

Sister Brenda - If parents will train their children at home how to be reverent during devotions, then when they come to church they will know how to do it.  We used to practice a lot of things.  I had them walk off and when I called they practiced stopping and listening.  They must practice at home and then they will know how to do it.  Don’t wait until they get into the restaurant or the church.  Make it an everyday way of life.

Brother Bill - It seems that people are getting away from structure in their life or according to the gospel.  They ‘just follow what the spirit says’ instead of following what the Word of God says.  We need to have structure.  God has it that the sun comes up in the east and sets in the west and the water stays where it is put and so on.

We need to be careful of our mealtime conversation.  I don’t like to hear gross stuff.  Stay away from controversial conversation.  Mealtime is to be enjoyed.  I love good conversation and food.  The mealtime is not a time to discuss conflicts.  It needs to be a peaceful and enjoyable time.

Going to church is not the time for conflicts either.  I did this with my children.  Brother Gary taught me this and I had to learn.  Going to church should be a pleasant time.

Sister Alice - I told my children that meal time would be a happy time.  If someone spills the milk I don’t want anyone to fuss.  People spill.  It is ok.  I want meal time to be happy.

When you pass the food, then whatever way you handle it so that it is more convenient whether to the left or to the right, pass all the food the same way.  When I start eating I put the napkin in my lap and I wait for the hostess or host to start eating.  When they call you to come and eat, don’t finish a big conversation before going to the table.

If they pass a heavy dish hold it for the next person so they can serve them self and then pass it.  Unless you are told to start by your host, don’t eat your desert until the host is ready to eat.

I don’t want to make any of my guests uncomfortable.  You don’t want to eat sloppy or anything but there is a proper way for the hostess to act too.  You don’t want to make your guests uncomfortable.

A gentleman considers the rights and feelings of someone else and never does anything unpleasant to others.  Never take more than your share, whether you are driving, sitting in a chair, or filling your plate full when there are others behind you.  Take a good portion but remember that you are one of many.

A gentleman never borrows money from a lady.  I don’t know that this is the case for husbands and wives; they must work out their own thing.  The man is responsible for a lady in general.  Except in unexpected circumstances, it should not be a way in general for a gentleman to borrow money from a lady.

Psa 37:21  The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

It is wickedness to borrow and not pay again.  David said to let there be no wicked way in me.  It is serious.
