Brother Gary Kelly Wednesday Evening 10/2/13

Brother Gary Kelly Wednesday Evening 10/2/13
1Ch 29:10  Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
1Ch 29:11  Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
1Ch 29:12  Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
1Ch 29:13  Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

Majesty means beauty, excellency, greatness, and honor.  It all belongs to God doesn’t it?
In thine hand is power!  His arm is not shortened, His ear is not heavy.

The things that describe God:  His greatness, His power, His glory, His victory, His majesty, His excellency, His goodliness, and honor.  The heavens are His.  This is an awesome thought!

The song, ‘It Took a Miracle’ was written by John Peterson.  It was inspired by the heavens.  If it is as they say, past the ones that we see are other galaxies and other galaxies.

The hills and the cattle on them are God’s.  The kingdom is His.  May you and I be determined that when Christ comes He will find faith in God.

We need to have the reality of God in our life.  ‘My soul demands reality.’  This reality in our life is durable riches.  Riches and honor come from God.

You can be rich in faith and if the dollar goes to nothing tomorrow morning then you can still be rich.

God reigns.  We can have Him reigning in our lives and we can reign.

There is power in His hand.  I was challenged as I read about prayer and thought of touching God and having Him touch our lives.  We must have Him in our lives.  There is power in the hand of God.  If we can get our hand in His hand and get Him to lay His hand upon us as Nehemiah said, “The good hand of the Lord is upon us.”

There is power and strength in His hand.

Blessed be the Lord!

Ps 62:11 is called a Psalm of David.  Some believe that someone wrote that psalm and gave it to David and David said, “This is my song.”  It is as we would call the song, “I Have No Regrets”, Brother and Sister Maxwell’s song.

David was running from his own son.  “God has spoken once, twice have I heard it that Power belongs to God.”

There is a source of power tonight.  We live in a world that wants us to be so busy that we neglect prayer and neglect the saints of God and neglect preparing for the house of God.

We need to be as David, “I am going to pray until I have a song, an exhortation and if it seems that everything is falling apart in my family or in my brother’s family, I am going to pray until I realize that power belongs to God.  We can pray for Addie until we know that God has heard prayer and we can trust Him.

Gen 17:1 I am almighty God.

Almighty means ‘I have all power and I have all sufficiency.’  Whatever you need for power, or for sufficiency, whether it is grace, strength, kindness, whatever you need, He is almighty God who has all power and strength.

Hab 3:1 Habakkuk was praying and said, “Thy light is bright and there are horns coming out of your hand.  It was in hiding to the natural eye but you reached forth your hand and power to thy servant.”

We need His power.  There is power in His hand.  “We’ve got the power in the name of Jesus.”  We want to live so that we have Holy Ghost power in our life:  We walk and talk and sing with Holy Ghost power in our life.

In that hand is horns and ‘horns’ means power.

Eph 1:19 what is His exceeding greatness of His power to usward who believe according to His mighty power.

When you tell God you are believing Him and walking by faith and expecting a miracle by faith either tonight or early tomorrow morning.  He has exceeding greatness of power to us who believe.

May God help us to see that there is great power to us as an individual and to us as the church of God.

Jesus said to the man that lay by the pool and never got into the water, “Wilt thou be made whole?”  This is a serious thought.

I may limp until someone is packing me in a casket, but I want to be whole spiritually.  There is power to be whole.  There is power to be emotionally whole, spiritually whole, and we believe in divine healing.  I want to be whole.
