Brother Gary Sunday Morning 10/27/13
1Ch 29:10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all
the congregation: and David said, Blessed be
thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
1Ch 29:11 Thine, O LORD, is
the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:
for all that is in the heaven and in the
earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as
head above all.
1Ch 29:12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in
thine hand is power and might; and in
thine hand it is to make great, and to
give strength unto all.
1Ch 29:13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and
praise thy glorious name.
My burden today is “Thine is the Kingdom.” David knew in the literal about a
kingdom. He was a literal king and was
to pass on his kingdom to his son soon after he said this.
Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of
heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Dan 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory,
and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his
dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that
which shall not be destroyed.
Everything of the earth will fade away. Men will fail. This kingdom will never be destroyed, and God
will never fail.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is
given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there
shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to
order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth
even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
He is wonderful. The
saints everywhere are the same. He is
the Everlasting Father, he is father to the father of the child and he is
father to the child.
It is ok when we start getting old and our agility or
strength decreases as long as the peace is increasing.
God is just. I think
of His justice and of how fair God is.
When I think of the one that has been taken advantage of… He that is the head of the church even when
one has been unjust says, “The injustice was wrong, joy was taken away and what
you thought would be a journey of joy and pleasure was not. The journey is wrecked and ruined unjustly; I
will come and give grace.”
God can come and take something that has been ruined and
light it with the justice of God and it is sealed that the zeal of the Lord of
Host will perform this.
Mat 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist,
preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of
heaven is at hand.
Jesus heard that John was in prison and left where he was
and went by Zabulon and the people that were setting in Darkness. Only Jesus passing by will give light to
those in darkness.
Mat 4:13 And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in
Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and
Nephthalim:
Mat 4:14 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken
by Esaias the prophet, saying,
Mat 4:15 The land of Zabulon, and the land of
Nephthalim, by the way of the sea,
beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;
Mat 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great
light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung
up.
Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to
say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
The question was asked in Sunday school, “How can you teach
someone that is rude at your dinner table manners if they will not receive
it.” There is something willful in the
nature of man that when they reject God they reject goodness.
This was my case. My
parents were strong and had the fear in me but it took Jesus to make me
mannerly and obedient because I wanted to be.
I may have feared my parents and was obedient on the outside but I was
ugly and rebellious inside. When Jesus
came by…
Brother Gyme asked a man in darkness if God was talking to
him. He said, “Yes, God is talking to
me.” People in darkness make a choice to
listen to God’s voice or not.
Jesus passed by and preached a message that all sinners need
to hear. It is the message that will
change lives. The message is
repentance. People refuse to repent and
try to quiet the message of repentance because they love darkness.
Repentance is confession and turning away from that which is
sin.
Mat 6:9 After this manner
therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy
will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11 Give us this day our
daily bread.
Mat 6:12 And forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13 And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, for ever. Amen.
This is a good daily prayer, not in the form of repetition,
but for that soul that hungers and thirsts to have that kingdom of heaven come
afresh to their soul in the morning and in the evening hours. The kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy
in the Holy Ghost.
Thy will be done in earth.
Today, today, of all the things that are trying to come to me: I told how I had been troubled with some
anxieties of things pressing in on me. I
had sought God and received scriptures:, let your calmness be made known for
the lord is at hand. And: Be careful for
nothing.
Daily your mind, and perhaps the enemy in a violent attack
on your mind, will bring all of the things that need to be done. I hurt my knee, I couldn’t run the rotor
tiller, couldn’t do this or that. These
things would just come in like a flood.
They come in and it doesn’t change a thing except me. Anxious.
The rotor tiller sat in the garage unstarted and the garlic was still
unplanted.
Today, may the kingdom come.
May there be joy and peace. May
God’s will be done in earth. “I want your
will, your plan.” His kingdom, His
presence, His plan totally changes our life.
That doesn’t mean that the garlic doesn’t need to be planted
or the dishes done. But if the kingdom
of God is reigning in your heart and life then the King can sit on the throne
of your heart.
If the cares are reigning, when the flood of cares come, then
who is trying to get on the throne of your heart? When the flood of problems come… problems are
a part of life. The children’s problems vary
with age.
When we pray, “Thy kingdom come today and the King come
today, and thy will be done in this earth.”
We don’t have to worry about things in heaven, it is alright in
heaven. But that it be right in earth.
Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees,
when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they
say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
People that are demanding will come into your life. Remember that the kingdom does not come with
observation and it will not be here or there.
It is ok to think that Paradise is special as long as you realize that
God is other places as well. God has
been so good to me but God has been good to others too.
The kingdom of God is within you. The kingdom of God is always under
attack. Many people in the religious
world say, “Get saved and you will never have a problem.” They never got saved or they wouldn’t say
that.
Mat 11:12 And from the days of
John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the
violent take it by force.
When you get saved the devil looses the battle and he begins
to put a strong mental attack on you.
He’ll try to put words in your mouth and will accuse you.
Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink;
but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Seek the kingdom first and all these things will be added.
You may be here and feel great pressure. You might feel that when you wake up the
first thoughts are pressure thoughts.
God has a better way. Set it so that
when you go to bed you already have it settled.
“When I wake up my thoughts will be to worship you.”
Think, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.” If you lose the first half hour of the day to
the thoughts of worry, then the devil has set the day for you to be on that
track the whole day.
All these things:
These saints are going to be traveling.
Seth may be fixing bikes. Sister
Julie will be in the classroom. The
young people will be in school. God
wants to supply all of their needs.
He cannot supply them unless we seek Him first. Jesus is never a bully. He is always a gentleman. We want Him to have first place. Seek Him first. If we want all our needs supplied, seek him
first and all these things shall be added to you.
