Brother Gary Sunday Evening 10/27/13
Not only is there the Kingdom of God but the Kingdom of God
has a King.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all
evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and
pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1Ti 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things;
and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on
eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good
profession before many witnesses.
Follow after righteousness and godliness. Follow after faith. The waves that are rolling over us are just
rolling over us. The storm will
pass. It looks like there will be loss
of family, friends, estates, and things held dear to us but follow after faith.
Follow after love, patience, meekness and be prepared to fight
the good fight of faith. We are going to
conquer. Bro Maconahae preached “Conquer
through prayer” as one of his last messages.
Lay hold on eternal life.
All the things of this world would try to take preeminence in our life
if we let them. We will leave them all
behind and it is vital for us and for the little ships around us that we hang
onto God.
1Ti 6:13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who
quickeneth all things, and before Christ
Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
1Ti 6:14 That thou keep this
commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus
Christ:
Keep it real the things that we are to flee, and keep it
more real what we are to follow after.
1Ti 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King
of kings, and Lord of lords;
Let us remember that Jesus Christ is still in the position
of preeminence and is above all men, all situations, everything that is going on
everywhere. He is above all. There are a lot of things going on but Christ
is still above it all. He is the King of
kings.
I am so happy: we’ll
crown Him Lord of all. We are so happy
that beyond a shadow of any doubt this king sits as a king on the heart and
soul of everyone that is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. Many kings have risen and fallen. In 2013 in the religious world there are men
that claim to be the potentate and the last day prophet, they claim to be
whatever.
Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he
is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
This is what we as a church are fighting spiritually
today. The powers of the eighth beast
are the conglomeration of all the spiritual powers that have ever worked in the
world.
As I was studying on perdition and destruction, it stirs my
soul to think that people are yielding themselves to spirits that are planning
to destroy them in this life and in hell.
Many are being destroyed by the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the
eyes and the pride of life. Many are
being destroyed by the lying spirits that cause them to believe that they are
saved. That cause them to believe a lie
and be damned. They are headed to
destruction, eternal destruction.
People have thought in the past, “I may not agree with this
religion but at least it teaches family values and this or that. We may have thought that but it had plans to
lead every family into destruction.
God gave the revelation of Jesus Christ on the isle of
Patmos and then went on to show John:
Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten
kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one
hour with the beast.
Rev 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their
power and strength unto the beast.
Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the
Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they
that are with him are called, and
chosen, and faithful.
These have one mind.
It is so interesting in rural western Montana between the river and the
mountains and the mountains on the other side.
We see in a spiritual realm the one mindedness of the eighth beast spirit.
They are in sympathy with the spirit they are under that is
leading them to destruction, because they love sin and unrighteousness, and
Babylon and their entertainment. Babylon
is just Hollywood under a different name.
They give their power to the beast.
These shall make war with the lamb. It is so interesting how people fight the
Jesus that is inside every one of us.
They fight the King of our kingdom and mark us with whatever without us
really knowing what the mark is. They
mark us because we don’t have the mark that they have. They have a system that brings everyone into
bondage and that they are in bondage with.
The Lamb shall overcome them. Be encouraged. If you and I will stay true to God as the
song was sung, “Before you or I were ever here, God was making plans.” God knows our days. He knows the days that are ahead. I do not think that there is defeat
ahead. The Lamb shall overcome them.
He is Lord of lords.
There is a remnant that said, “I will follow Him all the way. He is the Lord of my life.” We not only say with our lips but with our
heart and head, “Have thy own way Lord.”
He is the King of kings.
I look at these religious kings in Babylon and I just shake my
head. I’m not saying this to be a
smart-aleck. I don’t know very many of
them anymore. Whenever they can they put
their sword on the end of their elbow and give me a big punch then they do.
Jesus Christ is the King of kings. Whether you deal with kings in Hollywood or
in the entertainment world that is a sad story.
The money lords, these people that are in control of the money and are
ignorant enough to think, “I am set up in this position to hack this or that
one.” Do they not think that they are
getting set up to have someone hack them?
Most of my education was chopping wood but you don’t have to
live very long and you know some things.
I say all that to say this, whether it is in the money world or the
hospital and they say, “Thin the ranks.”
Don’t they know that someone else will come along and that hacker will
be hacked?
I’m not going to try to steal that brother’s cow. One came to tell my dad’s family, one of the
kings of the earth came to the house and said to his mother, “In order to get
your dad out of purgatory you need to give me your only cow.”
Are not you glad that we serve a God that has an everlasting
kingdom of peace, joy, and love. He is a
king with the heart of a shepherd.
He is Lord of lords and the King of kings.
It is so empty to drop a doctor’s first name. I know the King. I’m a part of a kingdom that has a kingdom of
priests. They that are with Him are
called. Isn’t it something how He calls
you?
I believe in walking humbly with my God. I don’t feel that I was with such an elite
group of Ireland that I had to come so far down the ladder... No, when He found me He lifted me up. When I think of the destruction that I was
headed to I can only point to the King of kings.
My King has scars in his hand so that He could lift me up.
We are chosen. He
said “If you make me your choice I will make you my choice and love you with a
love that will never let you go.” It is
a sad story to feel that you were loved and then forgotten.
It is wonderful to be loved.
Called, chosen, and faithful: No question, faithful to death. It is not hard to be faithful to Him. This King is so just, so fair, so good, and
so kind. He is a present help in every
time of need. Every once in a while he
tells us, “Way back there He was making plans for right here.”
Brother John: The kings of this
earth are arrogant. David knew that
being a king is not easy and carries a lot of responsibility. Just a few arrogant moves can injure so
many. David got many people killed just
because he acted out of pride.
Personal convictions are a source
of pride and can injure so many. It is
heartbreaking. People want to fellowship
others and the kings are in the way. If we
listen to God’s direction we can be there.
We can become as much Babylon as any Babylon if we don’t stay In His
hands.
Kings need to act like they are
godly, consider everyone in their influence and not think of only our
self. It can sure damage.
Sister Janet: I was thinking of
all of life that Babylon portrays. I
have not run across any religion that does not preach the same lie: “You cannot be righteous; you have to sin.”
