Seeking the face of God, Psalms 27 emphasizes this.

Psalms 27:8 KJVR
(8)  When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Matthew 7:7 KJVR
(7)  Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Seeking God is a step of obedience and faith.

Lamentations 3:25-26 KJVR
(25)  The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
(26)  It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

Don’t give up on seeking God.  The effort required to seek God pays benefits beyond what any of us could ever tell.

Ezra 8:22 KJVR
(22)  For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

Ezra refers to the hand of God being upon them many times in the book of Ezra.  He’d told the king all that God would do for them and then was a little uncomfortable because of all the enemies that they might encounter.

Amos 5:4 KJVR
(4)  For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:

There is a great famine of hearing the Word of God throughout the world.  It is wonderful that we can seek Him and by Him move and have our being.

Psalms 22:26 KJVR
(26)  The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

To be satisfied in our soul is wonderful!  I’m really satisfied having the saints for my friends.  I’m really satisfied hearing the saints sing.  I’m happy to go to church where God is.  I’m glad to be a part of Zion.  There are places you can go where there is no God.

“They shall praise the Lord that seek Him.”  Even though there are a lot of things left undone that you have prayed for, you can start praising God because He’s given the promise.

Psalms 34:10 KJVR
(10)  The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Those that will tear apart to get what they want will still not be satisfied.  Those that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.  God keeps His promises concerning those that seek His face.

Psalms 119:2 KJVR
(2)  Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

If you are seeking God, then you are blessed.  There are a lot of people that will not put forth the effort to seek God.  It takes effort to seek God.

Psalms 105:3 KJVR
(3)  Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

Let God know, “I’m going to rejoice, because I know the answer is on the way.”
