Brother Gary Sunday Evening 11/9/14

Brother Gary Sunday Evening 11/9/14
Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Pro 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Trust in the Lord.  It is of greatest importance that we have the fire of the Holy Ghost be renewed in our life that we would have a sound mind.  We can trust in Him whose record proves that we can trust Jesus.

In all your ways:  in all the details of our life, the scripture tells us to acknowledge God.  It is vital that if you have plans for the week to say, “Lord we have these plans but if you have any other plans we want you to fulfill them.”

Isa 26:3  Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

We sang a song this morning of holy quietness.  Isn’t that a wonderful song?  Brother Naylor wrote that song.  Isaiah said, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.”

Isa 26:4  Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

Isn’t it wonderful that there is one that has strength that never fails?  In Is 40: 31 he doesn’t faint or get weary.  He is always there.

Isa 26:7  The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

There is a way that He helps us to know the way.  It is the way of uprightness.

Hag 2:6  For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
Hag 2:7  And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

It is wonderful that there is a part of our soul that desires to know the eternal God.  He sent Jesus that that desire of every heart could be filled.

Pro 3:7  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

When we think that we have something figured out, there is something that we left out.

Pro 3:8  It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

There is a unique thing about the Word and Spirit of God.  It has a way of giving health to our literal life and to our spiritual life.  When the bone has marrow there is strength.  It is the same spiritually.  God has a way of renewing our strength.

Pro 3:9  Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

Pro 3:10  So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
