Brother Gary Wednesday Night 9/5/12

Too superstitious here refers to people being way too religious with no knowledge of God.

Act 17:22  Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

Act 17:23  For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

Act 17:24  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

The heavens of the heavens cannot hold God yet He lives in the heart of man.  He not only gives us spiritual life but literal life and he gives us breath.  He gives us all things, whatever you need spiritually and literally you can trust God to give you.  Wherever people can live, God made that location and they can be saved there.

Act 17:25  Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Act 17:26  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Act 17:27  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

If men and women will humble their heart and turn to God then He will be there.

Act 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

We are so blessed to know about abiding in Him.  Pray in the Spirit, live in the Spirit, and walk in the Spirit.  God is the same in the afternoon as He is at 4 in the morning.  I need to be able to pray as good at four in the pm as I can in the am.  We need to do some stretches and exercise so that we can get a life. 

Having life means being complete, being alive, being real, being true to our self, and being true to our calling.  It causes us to be our being with some enthusiasm not just as a dead stump.

God help me to be as God is, He is alive and well 24/7 from everlasting to everlasting.
