Sister Brenda Wednesday Evening 3/20/13
Jos 1:1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of
the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun,
Moses' minister, saying,
Jos 1:2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore
arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do
give to them, even to the children of
Israel.
Jos 1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall
tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
Jos 1:4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even
unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and
unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
Jos 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand
before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor
forsake thee.
Jos 1:6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto
this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto
their fathers to give them.
Jos 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that
thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant
commanded thee: turn not from it to the
right hand or to the left, that thou
mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
Jos 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of
thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest
observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt
make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Jos 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a
good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
“Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon,
that have I given unto you.” Everything
that we step on, everything that becomes a part of our life, whatever you do
today, whatever God has given you, that is the ground that God has given
you.
Sometimes where our foot lands is a hard place: a
disappointment, a heart break. It is not
always easy. Whatever God gives us and
allows to come into our lives, He will help us to get the good out of it and to
stay saved and to come through with the victory.
Everything that we come across and that is in our way will
work for our good. God wants us to
always have a right attitude, stay sweet and be a good example and testimony
for Him. He wants to help us whatever we
face.
Deu 11:24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet
shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river,
the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
Deu 11:25 There shall no man be able to stand before
you: for the LORD your God shall lay the
fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as
he hath said unto you.
Deu 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing
and a curse;
Deu 11:27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of
the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
Deu 11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the
commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I
command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
“Everyplace whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall
be yours.” Claim it. Receive God’s help and support that He has
for you. God promises a blessing if we
obey. Are we going to obey? Take the word of God and obey it all and God
will bless and help you.
Deu 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt
hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command
thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of
the earth:
Deu 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee,
and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Deu 28:3 Blessed shalt
thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be
in the field.
Deu 28:4 Blessed shall be
the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy
cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Deu 28:5 Blessed shall be
thy basket and thy store.
Deu 28:6 Blessed shalt
thou be when thou comest in, and blessed
shalt thou be
when thou goest out.
Deu 28:7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise
up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee
one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
Deu 28:8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee
in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall
bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Deu 28:9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people
unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments
of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
Deu 28:10 And all people of the earth shall see that
thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
Deu 28:11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in
goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the
fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give
thee.
Deu 28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good
treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless
all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou
shalt not borrow.
Deu 28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and
not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if
that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command
thee this day, to observe and to do them:
Deu 28:14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the
words which I command thee this day, to
the right hand, or to the left, to go
after other gods to serve them.
Isn’t that wonderful! Look at all the blessings that God promises
if we do what He commands us. When it doesn’t
seem like that is how it is, stand on these scriptures and say, “God you said
it, help me to know that you’re going to bless me in everything.”
We can rise above everything that the enemy would throw in
our path.
Psa 84:11 For the LORD God is
a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk
uprightly.
Sun and shield grace and glory, there is no shortage of grace
or glory but He will give us everything that we stand in need of. No good thing, nothing that man really needs,
nothing good in life, or to prepare us for the life to come, nothing will God withhold
from us.
Php 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
We know that. We have
this one memorized. My God shall supply your
needs. Trust God to give us everything that
is good for us.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for
good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
We know that everything works for our good. That is awesome. No one but the saints can claim this
one. This is for those that love, fear,
and serve God.
Heb 13:5 Let your
conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for
he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. God will never leave us without help. We can stand on this.
1Sa 12:22 For the LORD will not forsake his people for
his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.
He will not forsake his people for His great names sake.
Psa 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous
forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
Have you ever seen the righteous forsaken? We’ve seen them come through hard and
difficult times but we see God sustain them.
He gives them strength and helps them.
He is faithful.
Psa 37:28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh
not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall
be cut off.
The seed of the wicked shall be cut off but He forsakes not
His saints.
Isa 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will
help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isa 41:17 When
the poor and needy seek water, and there is
none, and their tongue faileth for
thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
Praise God. I’m so
thankful for His word and for those good promises.
