Brother Gary Wednesday Evening 7/8/15
Mat 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and
cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables
of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
Mat 21:13 And said unto them, It
is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a
den of thieves.
It is so wonderful to know about worship, praising,
thanking, and beseeching God.
Mat 21:14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the
temple; and he healed them.
It is wonderful how God, His Son, and the Holy Spirit work
even in the situations that are not that great in the onset.
Mat 21:15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw
the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and
saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
Hosanna is an exclamation of great joy. The children felt the presence of God. They were not involved with the things of the
world as unfortunately some were in the temple and they responded, “Hosanna to
the highest.”
Mat 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these
say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never
read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
Where can we begin praising God tonight? In our individual lifetime God has been so
good to us. Before we were here, God in
his mercy prepared a way that we could be saved. As natural Gentiles we were not in line to be
saved. It is wonderful that God opened
it to all of us that we could be saved and sanctified.
The beautiful song, “I’ve been to Calvary,” is a beautiful
song. Thank God that He has deeper
depths and higher heights and the light keeps shining to a brighter and a more
perfect day.
We see a vision of heavenly things:
Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I
heard was as it were of a trumpet talking
with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be
hereafter.
Rev 4:2
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in
heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Rev 4:3
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in
sight like unto an emerald.
God on His throne with a rainbow around the throne,
representing all the promises of God. Everyone
here tonight is challenged. Most of us
recognize our challenge. We want to
remember that God is still on the throne.
All the promises in Him are yea and amen.
Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat
on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven
seals.
Rev 5:2
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to
open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
Rev 5:3
And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to
open the book, neither to look thereon.
Rev 5:4
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the
book, neither to look thereon.
Rev 5:5
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the
tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose
the seven seals thereof.
Rev 5:6
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four
beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain,
having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent
forth into all the earth.
The Spirit of God is still working in this dispensation of
time. He worked in the past, and He is
still working today. He is not only
working with the lost, He is working with me and with you. He is working with the church, “Take two
steps forward.”
Rev 5:7
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon
the throne.
Rev 5:8
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb,
having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the
prayers of saints.
Rev 5:9
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and
to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by
thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Let us remember why we are saved, it is not so that we can
have a good life or miss hell, we are saved to be servants of God the Father,
Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit of God.
Isn’t it wonderful to be redeemed? Isn’t it wonderful to be redeemed back to God?
Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and
priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
God wants us to reign over everything. He doesn’t want you to be moved by the pressures
of life. He doesn’t want something to
move in and disrupt your devotion to God, to the saints, or to revival.
He wants us to be a king over everything. He wants us to be a priest in that we can
offer up spiritual sacrifices. We can
work through tabernacle worship and get back to the Holiest of Holies where God
works with His people.
He wants us to be there where Aaron’s rod that budded
is. If there is something going on in
your life, get before God and say, “What are your plans?”
All of us will be buffeted about the revival. The world will move in with opportunities
that are ‘once in a lifetime’. This revival
is more than just once in a lifetime. It
will mark eternity for souls. It may
mark eternity for our sons in law.
Whenever you get ready to have revival, it never fails, all
sorts of things begin to transpire. Anything
to hinder you in your prayer life, in your schedule, expect someone to call
that you haven’t heard from in a long time.
Don’t lose your focus. There is
no one like you when it comes to being where God wants you to be.
He has made us a priest.
We can have Him say to us, “I have some good things to show you.” If you come here hungry, it will have a
profound effect on your soul and on the meeting.
God says, “I’m going to lead you two steps.” God leads in such beautiful ways. You don’t need to have any fear about God leading. You need to fear lest you should mess up His leading.
I was determined that no matter how I felt, “I’m going to
have the joy of the Lord.” There are
days that I don’t feel good. If I would
give into it then I would be a grouchy old sour-puss. There are days that look black. It only looks black. We have to reign.
Rev 5:11
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the
throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand
times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
Rev 5:12
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive
power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and
blessing.
Can you hear that host in heaven worshipping and rejoicing?
Rev 5:13
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the
earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying,
Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be
unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
Give God the blessing.
Thank God for what He has done. Thank
God for what He is doing. Give Him
honor. Hallowed be thy name!
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power
of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them
before our God day and night.
Don’t you love it when you hear a voice, “Now is come
salvation, strength, and the kingdom of our God: righteousness, peace, and joy.”
He is right there to show Himself strong on our behalf. Don’t think that there won’t be hills to
climb or besetments. Remember the power
of God.
The accuser of our brethren is cast down. During the revival often the voice of the
accuser has come. Know the voice of God and
know the voice of the accuser. When you
hear that certain thought come from darkness accusing you, “They overcame them
by the blood of the lamb.”
Remember the blood on your mind. Claim the blood encircling you. In that blood is life, power to resist the
enemy, it is salvation, consecration, and sanctification. Thank God for the
blood of Christ.
The word of their testimony:
I know that I got saved. When the
devil comes say, “You want to talk so I want you to listen to me.” I’ve listened to him long enough, it is time
for him to listen to me: “I know I got
saved and I know that I have the Blood of the Lamb on my heart.”
They loved not their lives unto the death.
When you tell God, “I am yours no matter what. I will never go back to sin. I will not take two steps back for the sake
of ease. I’ll not go back for the
battle. I am going to take two steps
forward.”
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the
Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto
the death.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters
of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great
wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Therefore rejoice oh heavens!
