Brother Gary Wednesday Evening 3/4/15
Psa 103:1 A Psalm
of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all
his benefits:
It is wonderful to have the inspired Word of God and to know
that it is the inspired Word of God. There
are millions tonight that are in total darkness because they have not allowed
that Word of God is inspired or even that it is the Word of God.
It is wonderful that we have a God like He is. He is faithful. Before time He was God. He has been, and is, and will be God all
through eternity.
We are blessed to have hymns to sing. Wonderful hymns!
It is wonderful to have fellowship and know that help is
always close. When we live in a small community
and have phones, not only help from God but also help from one another is
always close.
It is wonderful that we have the benefit of supplication; it
is wonderful that we have been taught about intercession, supplication, and
prayer.
It is wonderful in a world where there is so much evil and
there are those that are so oppressed by the evil that is out there and don’t
know the way of escape yet, that we can know about salvation.
Bless the Lord all my soul and all that is within me. Bless His holy name.
Mat 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea
Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men
say that I the Son of man am?
Mat 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias;
and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But
whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art
the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not
revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 16:18 And I say also unto
thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the
gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto
thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth
shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be
loosed in heaven.
In every one of our individual lives, we have the experience
where we are visited by God and His Son asking the question, “Who am I to you?”
Peter answered, “Some say this, some say that, and some say
something else.” Jesus then asked, the
question strongly, “Whom do you say that I am?”
Peter answered, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus said, “Blessed art thou, Simon.”
It is a wonderful thing that the Holy Spirit of God reveals
Jesus and we see Christ as Christ. It is
altogether different than that ‘familiar head knowledge.’
Jesus said, “I am going to build my church.” We didn’t start out in the beginning of this
but came along in 2015. Thank God we are
here. We are the called out assembly
that haven’t just come out but have come to Mt. Zion.
The gates of hell shall not prevail against it. There will be times when we feel that all
hell is turned lose against us. The
devil will turn all that God will allow him to turn against God’s people to see
if he can turn us away from God.
We are going to be put to the test but you and I know that
real gold can be tried time and time again and it is still gold. When silver is heated, the dross is removed
but the silver remains. The image of God
becomes visible.
God has made a way so that we can have everything that we
need to make it: the promises of God, the tools, the anointing, the faith… We have learned that it is the road of
instruction that takes us to knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.
God knows how to position us just where we should be so that
we can receive the keys of the kingdom. They
are the promises of God under the anointing of God. Jesus said,
Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that
quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you,
they are spirit,
and they are
life.
Of all the promises of God all we need is one with the Spirit
of God pouring the anointing and through the blood of Jesus we can be more than
a conqueror.
John 2 speaks of the anointing. We appreciate all that we have enjoyed. We need that anointing. With these unspoken prayer requests. It is marvelous how when God moves upon us
with His anointing we can have that key that we need that will help a precious
soul get where they need to be. That key
comes with faith and light.
Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not,
but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have
life, and that they might have it
more abundantly.
The enemy is out to steal, kill, and to destroy. Those are the things that we want to
bind. Isn’t it wonderful that Jesus didn’t
stop there? He came to give us life more
abundantly!
What you loose on earth is loose in heaven. I think of the great sore house in
heaven: God can pour out and pour out
and pour out. In our cellar when you
take a couple of quarts of beans out then there are two less there. He can give out and every resource that you
need is there. He is God.
34 years later Peter had really got this message.
2Pe 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of
Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through
the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2Pe 1:2
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and
of Jesus our Lord,
He had learned on the road of instruction, the journey of
life that there was grace and peace.
2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto
us all things that pertain unto life and
godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and
virtue:
We are not asking God to use carnal power to convict souls
or move mountains, we are asking for the eternal power of God to work with
souls.
God told Cyrus that he would go before him and evaporate
every resistance that he met. (I am paraphrasing.)
The burden of our heart is for those things that pertain to
godliness through Christ Jesus.
2Pe 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by
these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption
that is in the world through lust.
2Pe 1:5
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to
virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience
godliness;
2Pe 1:7
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
Give all diligence. Our
God is ready to supply every need. All the
unspoken prayer requests: mine is big
but not too big for God. Whatever the 11
other unspoken prayer requests were, God is able.
He told Peter that He gave him the keys. They are in our hand. Whatever God has promised.
We need to be binding the devil. Whatever he has encamped around the camp of
the saints. We serve a God that can set
ambushments all about the camp of the enemy.
